Full Support Donates Over 1.3 Million Face Masks to UK Hygiene Charity
As the effects of the pandemic intensified last year, the range of social and economic challenges that came with it were beyond anything many of us could have anticipated.
When the mask mandate came into effect on the 24th July last year, the seemingly small added expense of buying face masks was not one many of us had to worry about, but for many of the 14 million people in the UK living in hygiene poverty this essential resource was far out of reach.
Set up in 2018, The Hygiene Bank believes that being clean shouldn’t be a luxury or a privilege reserved only for those who can afford it. That’s why their mission is to bring communities, businesses and thought leaders together to tackle hygiene poverty by giving access to essential hygiene products and being a voice for change.
The work and values of this brilliant charity are the reason why Full Support donated more than 1.3 million face masks to The Hygiene Bank for them to use and distribute to their local communities, keeping everyone safe and protected.
The face masks have been shared out between the charity’s projects across the UK and donated to several good causes including: homelss charities, children and family centres, food banks, women’s refuges and many other organisations that support those who find themselves struggling to meet their basic needs.

We have been humbled by the amazing feedback from not only The Hygiene Bank, but all of the charities and good causes we have partnered with in the last 12 months, working together to donate 20.8 million face masks (so far) to those who need them most.
