Powered air purifying respirators (PAPR) provide a robust alternative to tight-fitting RPE.

When combined with a loose-fitting hood and appropriate filters, PAPRs can provide a constant supply of clean, purified air to the user – without needing to be fit tested.

Depending on the filter selected, PAPR can be suitable for particulate and/or chemical hazards – ideal protection for workers with beards, in need of chemical protection or have not passed a Fit Test.
