Full Support Group Acquires Design Reality
British PPE/RPE market leader adds specialist Welsh design innovators to the Group
We are delighted to announce that Full Support Group Ltd, who are based in Wellingborough, UK, has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of Design Reality, the UK design and engineering specialists based in St Asaph, North Wales.
Full Support Healthcare specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Respiratory Protective equipment (RPE). They also provide specialist training, education and digital monitoring solutions for PPE compliance. Full Support Healthcare has been in business since 2002, with offices in the UK and Australia. Their products are known globally for their exceptional quality and are used by over 90% of the UK healthcare market.
Design Reality are design specialists across the medical, consumer and industrial sectors. They offer outstanding product design services, software development and electrical engineering services, additive manufacturing and product testing. Design Reality has recently secured investment from the Welsh government to design and develop their ground-breaking innovative new products.
As part of Full Support Group, Design Reality will retain its brand identity and continue to operate as a stand-alone provider of design and engineering services to the market, while offering particular specialisms and synergies to Full Support Healthcare as we continue to lead the market in PPE & RPE.

The acquisition will further Full Support Group ambitions to become a UK-based manufacturer of RPE and PPE, with investment into the Wales operation to develop prototype manufacturing of the respirator masks and other products, and the building of a new innovation and manufacturing facility in Northamptonshire to serve the whole of the UK and export markets. Design Reality were recently accredited with the “Made in Britain” mark, a sign of quality and commitment in investment in local jobs and communities. The investment by Full Support Group will help to secure many jobs in Wales, as well as create many more new manufacturing jobs in Northamptonshire and around the UK.
