Putting safety first with Full Support

Full Support’s Respiratory Protection Equipment (RPE) expert Tony Gerreli led a successful RPE and face fit tester training session for The Children’s Trust in Surrey earlier this year.

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury – delivering rehabilitation, education and specialist services through skilled teams in the community.

“At The Children’s Trust we are committed to the highest standards of care for the children and young people we support, and training is a crucial element of this,” said Nicola Rocca, Infection Prevention and Control Lead Nurse for The Children’s Trust. “The RPE training provided by Full Support Healthcare is really important, as it will allow us to provide essential provision for our staff as they care for and protect the vulnerable children we support.

“Following Full Support Healthcare’s training, we’ve all come away feeling confident with a clear understanding of RPE, the correct equipment we should be using in each situation and the practical knowledge of how to use it safely.”

However, RPE training is not only needed for people in healthcare.

“While we continue to provide training predominantly to the healthcare sector, we are seeing more and more requests for RPE awareness and face fit training from trusted partners in the construction, food and hygiene industries,” Tony said. “It’s really encouraging to see organisations in every sector take their staff’s health and safety seriously.”
